1. Information we process
We process information required to operate BaseTools, including account identifiers and contact details; authentication and security records; orders, balances, deposits, refunds, and transaction references; support messages; and technical information such as IP address, browser data, cookies, security events, and referral or campaign attribution.
2. How we use information
Information is used to create and secure accounts, deliver and manage orders, maintain balances and payment records, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, improve reliability, measure campaign performance, comply with applicable obligations, and resolve disputes. BaseTools does not sell account information for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
We share only the information reasonably needed with providers that support hosting, security, authentication, communications, analytics, order delivery, and payment processing. A selected payment provider may receive order, currency, amount, network, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. Google receives information when you choose Google sign-in.
4. Cookies and local storage
BaseTools uses essential cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security, preferences, checkout, and referral attribution. Blocking essential storage can prevent account and checkout features from working. We do not use the secure session cookie to sell advertising profiles.
5. Retention
Account and operational records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and applicable legal requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Some records may remain after account closure when required to protect users or resolve transactions.
6. Security
We apply access controls, password hashing, encryption where appropriate, logging, and monitoring intended to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting passwords, recovery keys, two-factor codes, and private order links.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection concerning your personal information. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information that is required for security, disputes, accounting, or legal compliance.
8. International processing
BaseTools and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border processing.
9. Age requirement
BaseTools is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, to create an account or purchase services.
